Senior Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychologist
In this workshop, Dr. Stapert will discuss specific ways of effectively communicating with children to increase positive behaviors, self-esteem/confidence, frustration tolerance, emotional regulation, attention and compliance.
She will review the main reasons for why children exhibit challenging behaviors, such as aggression and defiance, and will teach strategies to effectively navigate these difficult situations.
Parents will leave this workshop with a better understanding of their own parenting style along with a "toolbox" of research-based strategies that can be used to enhance the parent-child dynamic.
